Fly into Paro by Druk air flight (Royal Bhutan Airline) or Bhutan Airlines. After immigration and customs formalities, you will be received by the representative & drive to Thimphu. After breakfast, you will visit the Memorial Chorten (built-in memory of the third King of Bhutan who reigned from 1952-1972), Buddha Point, Visit Simply Bhutan, the tradition museum. Visit Tashichhoe Dzong, and the zoo, which contains the national animal of Bhutan, the takin and Craft Bazaar , from there you will visit the nunnery temple, and the School of Arts and Crafts (also known as the painting school). After a relaxing lunch, you will visit the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, a traditional paper factory. Overnight in Thimphu.
After the breakfast, you will start driving to Paro,drive towards the almost fully reconstructed Drukgyel Dzong. In fine weather, the towering peak of the sacred Mount Jomolhari (7314m) appears as a stunning backdrop. On the return drive to Paro, afternoon sightseeing around Paro, including a visit to the Ta Dzong Museum and Rimpung Dzong visit other sights in Paro valley,Overnight at your hotel in Paro.
After breakfast, hike up to Taktsang Monastery, also known as ‘Tiger’s Nest’. The climb up to the viewpoint will take around 3 hours and from there you will enjoy a spectacular view of the monastery clinging to the side of the cliff. Stop for refreshments at the View Point Cafeteria. Then walk further up to the monastery which will take another 1 1?2 hour. It is said that in the 8th century Guru Rinpoche flew on the back of a tigress from eastern Bhutan to this place and meditated in a cave there for 3 months. The principal Lhakhang (monastery) of the present monastic complex dates from 1692. After visiting the monastery, walk back down to the road on the way stop for lunch at the viewpoint cafeteria, and then walk further down to the road point. Then travel back to your hotel, and you may relax in the traditional hot stone bath. In the evening, explore Paro Town. overnight at a hotel in Paro.
